Version History Made for iPhone Duo. Folded or open, Pocket Cal fits: one glass rail beside the camera, and a split day view when you open it, list on the left and timeline on the right.

• Landscape on iPad and open Duo: list and timeline side by side, editors as a floating window
• Year view fits any screen, no scrolling
• Plan today is now on for Pro members
• Reschedule from Month + List with a small calendar
• Catch Up can move overdue tasks to a day with no times
• Dates on memory cards, in fourteen formats

Fixed:

• Pocket Cal on Mac can now ask for Calendar access, and opens again on launch
• Launch crash on iPhone 17 Pro Max
• A rare crash loading the month overview
• Fewer AI service errors on busy days 1.4.1 Oct 6 - Plain events and tasks are understood on device as you type and added immediately, with no AI wait. Short times ("5p"), places, repeats ("every 2 months", "every other week"), and the list you referenced are all read on the spot. AI is now invoked only when it is actually needed: questions, edits, and anything that needs to know your existing schedule.
- The composer shows what it gathered underneath what you are typing, and highlights the recognized words in the theme color. Tap a detail to change the day, time, list, or repeat before you add.
- A button to send an entry to AI anyway instead of adding it instantly.
- An instant add lands straight away and offers to review it, whatever your AI mode is set to.
- The viewer is one card of tiles. Only the title and the details sit above it; Delete and Save split the bottom row by width. "Make it a task" and "Show as" moved into the bottom dock, and the top-left edit and close buttons are gone.
- Write on a day's card in nine typefaces, with weights, ten colors, a background plate (solid, soft, or tape), and a border (hairline, bold, or dashed). Text pieces drag, size, tilt and layer like photos, and reopen for editing.
- Glassier shell with a top-lit rim, an attachment picker that explains what a photo is for, and a bold dictation bar: live waveform, elapsed time, one stop button.
- If the app loses access to Reminders, the task page says so and offers to fix it instead of quietly failing to save. 1.4 Sep 13 - Sections in lists. Ready / In Progress / Done style sections inside any list, as a swipeable board or a stacked list. Drag tasks between columns; one column can auto-complete what lands in it. Dated tasks show a date chip.
- Three task views. Comfortable, Compact, and the new Minimal (no cell backgrounds, one cohesive list).
- New task composer. Floating card with a full-width title line, list mark and date chip, live dictation, and a clear Add button. New List sheet redesigned to match.
- Month + List layout. Mini month on top, every day of the month listed below. The floating pill on Month + Week / Month + List now returns to Today.
- Photo Journal. Hold the month title or tap Logbook for a film reel of the month's photos.
- Collage tools. Layouts, tone, frames, captions, snapping, duplicate, lock, and full undo/redo. New Month Collage home screen widget.
- Colors. Appearance → Colors: calendar colors, theme colors, one color, or a custom set. Upcoming can show list colors as a dot, colored text, or off.
- Google and Microsoft direct sync (Pro). Sign in inside Pocket Cal from Manage Calendars → Add Account. Events, attachments, and invites go straight to the account.
- Invite people from contacts. New contact picker: search, multi-select, or type an address; shows who is already invited. Direct-connected calendars send real invites on save.
- Move to Today on any future event (hold it).
- Plus button preference. Settings → General: choose whether + starts a task or an event.
- Year view AI flash. Days the AI just filled light up with a callout.
- Memory cards. Cleaner editor; tapping a day's badge lifts the card for a preview.
- iPad landscape. More breathing room for the month; composer docks in the corner. 1.3.9 Sep 1 - One-tap Plan button in the composer: Plan today, Plan tomorrow, or Optimize week — review, then approve.
- Live progress while the scheduler works, step by step.
- Dictation you can see: live waveform and words arriving as you speak.
- Events open as a page: date with forecast, map, notes, people with contact photos, and a scrubbable edit bar.
- AI Assistant mode is now Automatic, with a simpler settings page.
Fixes
- All Day off keeps your original times.
- Moving a task to another account's list no longer crashes.
- Voice deletes and edits always show the item's name.
- Edit and Save readable on light accent themes.
- New List brings up the keyboard immediately. 1.3.8 Aug 27 - Sliding time dial — a new way to pick a time: tap the dial button in any time picker to swap the wheels for a sliding ruler.
- Theme carousel — a scrollable row of theme dots right in Appearance; whichever dot you scroll to the center becomes your theme, live.
- Six new gray themes — Fog and Pewter (light silvers), Slate and Charcoal (true grays), Ink and Onyx (off-blacks).
- Edit one event in a series — repeating events now ask "This Event Only or All Future Events?" when you edit, delete, or resize them — including grip-resizes in week view.
- Smarter assistant for everyone — every AI request now runs on the hosted reasoning model by default. No toggle, no tiers to think about — just better parsing for all users.
- Complete translations — German, Spanish, French, Russian, and Greek are now 100% translated across the entire app. 1.3.7 Aug 19 - Image backgrounds for memory cards: pick a photo from your library or search Unsplash and it fills the card edge to edge behind your cutouts and drawings
- Backgrounds are managed from the card's background menu: pick a new one to replace it, or remove it there. They can't be grabbed or moved by accident
- Redesigned Unsplash browser: a two column mosaic of photos at their real shapes
- Fixed random freezing bug 1.3.6 Aug 14 • Compose Tomorrow, rebuilt

• Smarter assistant
Handles multi-day events (“camping from the 12th to the 15th”), exact durations, alerts, and notes. Deeper understanding of German, Russian, and Greek too.
• Background photos
Stay readable on every screen, with a soft blur behind busy views.
• Polish everywhere
Faster first launch, a more reliable composer keyboard, and rock-solid saves for repeating events. 1.3.5 Aug 11 • Assistant rebuilt — proposals show as tappable review cards, deletes and edits work by just typing them, plans confirm before anything lands, and you can talk to it with the mic
• New agenda layout — your day as time blocks: one channel from first hour to last, events painted at their true length, tasks as dots, open time hollow; hold and drag to retime in 15-minute steps

• New Recurring page — tap the Upcoming title to flip to every repeating event and task, listed once with its schedule and next date

Version History Made for iPhone Duo. Folded or open, Pocket Cal fits: one glass rail beside the camera, and a split day view when you open it, list on the left and timeline on the right.

Days the AI just filled light up with a callout.

version 1.4.1

posted on 2026-10-07

• Fewer AI service errors on busy days 1.4.1 1h ago - Plain events and tasks are understood on device as you type and added immediately, with no AI wait.

- Smarter assistant for everyone — every AI request now runs on the hosted reasoning model by default. No toggle, no tiers to think about — just better parsing for all users.
- Complete translations — German, Spanish, French, Russian, and Greek are now 100% translated across the entire app. 1.3.7 Aug 19 - Image backgrounds for memory cards: pick a photo from your library or search Unsplash and it fills the card edge to edge behind your cutouts and drawings

version 1.4

posted on 2026-09-20

Version History - Plain events and tasks are understood on device as you type and added immediately, with no AI wait.
1.4 6d ago - Sections in lists.
Fixes

Version History • Compose Tomorrow, rebuilt
Plan tonight for tomorrow on one clean timeline. Drag anything into place, then tap Balance to give your day some breathing room.
• Month + Week layout
Hold and drag on the timeline to create an event right where you want it. Optional day markers and subtle haptics included.
• Weather on the day view
Tap a day’s weather for the forecast. Colors match the real temperatures, with a beautiful hourly graph for temperature or rain.
• Month collage upgrades
New text styles in any color you like, rounded corners, one-tap subject cut-out for photos, and a much better Unsplash photo browser.
1.3.5 3h ago • Assistant rebuilt — proposals show as tappable review cards, deletes and edits work by just typing them, plans confirm before anything lands, and you can talk to it with the mic
